Don't lose your Medicaid Coverage
Medicaid renewals are happening now, and everyone with Medicaid must take action to keep their coverage. Missing a step could mean losing your health insurance.
Why This Matters
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) sends Medicaid renewal notices based on each person’s renewal date.
If they do not have your correct address, email, or phone number, you may not receive your notice — and your Medicaid coverage could end.
Step 1: Make sure MDHHS has your current contact information
You can update your information:
- Online: michigan.gov/mibridges
- By Phone: Call MDHHS for your county:
- Berrien County: 844-464-3447
- Cass County: 269-445-0200
- Van Buren County: 269-621-2800
Step 2: Watch for your renewal notice
Not everyone is renewed at the same time.
When your notice arrives:
- Complete the renewal form
- Gather any documents requested
- Submit everything by the deadline listed
Missing the deadline could result in a loss of coverage.
