Cassopolis Family Clinic Adds Nurse Practitioner
Cassopolis, MI, June 16, 2016 – Jody Murmu, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined the medical staff of the Cassopolis Family Clinic Network (CFCN).
Murmu, a southwest Michigan native, received her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree from Andrews University and Master of Science Nursing Degree from Indiana University. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
“After working in the hospital setting as a nurse for a few years, I would see patients returning again and again for the same health problems. I wanted to play a role in the prevention of these problems. I decided the time was right for me to return to school to become a Nurse Practitioner with a goal to help my patients focus on preventative health care and reduce hospital readmissions,” Murmu stated when asked why she decided to become a Nurse Practitioner. “I chose to practice in southwest Michigan so that I might give back to my community by helping to improve the health and well-being of those in the community that I call home.”
